Systems that talk to each other

Most businesses do not have too few tools. They have several that know nothing about each other, and the bill arrives as double entry, every day, paid by people with better things to do.

  • Everything in sync
  • No double entry
  • One place to look
  • Fewer manual steps

Sound familiar?

  • A new customer gets entered into three systems, and is regularly missing from one.
  • Asking how many jobs you did last quarter costs half an hour of digging.
  • Two lists disagree, and nobody knows which one is right.
  • Invoices get made by someone retyping details from one system into another.
  • You keep paying for a tool purely because a list is trapped inside it.
In detail

What we connect

The tools you already have

Calendar, accounts, customer list, newsletter, till system, online shop. We work with what you own and replace only what genuinely cannot be connected.

Processes, not single links

Not "A sends to B" but the whole path from enquiry to paid invoice. That is when it becomes clear which step was never needed.

One source per fact

For every piece of information we settle which system owns it. Everything else reads from there. That is the difference between in sync and contradicting each other.

One place to look

A view showing where things stand, without logging into four applications and adding three numbers up in your head.

The result

What changes

No double entry

Enter something once, and it turns up everywhere it is needed.

Numbers that agree

When two systems show the same figure, it is because it came from the same place.

Answers in seconds

Where things stand is a view, not half an hour of reconstruction.

You can see the bottleneck

Once the whole path is visible, so is the step where jobs keep getting stuck.

Questions

Common questions

Do we have to switch software for this?
Usually not. Most widely used tools can be connected, and switching is expensive because it means retraining people. We only suggest replacing something when it genuinely cannot be connected, and we explain why.
What happens when a provider changes something?
It happens. So we build connections to fail loudly rather than quietly, and monitoring is part of the support we offer. When an interface changes, you hear it from us, not from a customer whose details went missing.
How do we start without rebuilding everything?
With the connection that gets made by hand most often. Usually that is enquiry into customer list, or work done into invoice. One step, live, measurable. Then you decide about the next one.
Do we see the cost upfront?
Yes. We look at the systems involved, check what they allow, and quote a fixed price. If one of them turns out to be more trouble than it is worth, we say so before the quote rather than during the work.
