Care, so nothing breaks quietly

Software decays even when nobody touches it. The difference between an incident and a footnote is usually just whether someone looked before anyone else noticed.

  • Daily backups
  • Security updates
  • Uptime monitoring
  • A real person

Sound familiar?

  • You do not know when your site was last backed up, or whether the backup would restore.
  • The contact form sent nothing for weeks and nobody noticed.
  • Whoever built your site no longer replies, or is no longer in business.
  • A two-sentence change has been waiting eight days for a reply.
  • You saw a warning about a security flaw and have no idea whether it affects you.
In detail

What happens continuously

Backups that are tested

Daily backups, kept off the server, and restored regularly to prove they work. A backup nobody has ever tested is an assumption, not a backup.

Updates and security

Security patches promptly, everything else on a schedule and checked afterwards. So an update is never the thing that takes your site down.

Monitoring around the clock

Uptime, speed, certificates and the contact form are all watched. When something fails we hear it from the monitoring, not from you.

A real person

For changes you message someone who already knows your setup. An answer the same working day, without explaining yourself three times.

The result

What changes

Outages get noticed

By us, before they get noticed by someone who was trying to buy from you.

Known holes stay shut

Most incidents use flaws that have had a patch available for a long time.

Changes do not sit in a queue

Small edits are part of the arrangement. They need neither their own quote nor a wait.

You can stop

The arrangement lasts as long as it is useful to you. Your accounts and your data stay yours.

Questions

Common questions

Do you look after sites you did not build?
Yes, after a short review. We look at what it runs on, what needs updating, and whether backups exist. Then we tell you what support would cost, or that rebuilding would be more honest than maintaining something past saving.
What does support cost?
A fixed monthly amount, and what it comes to depends on what is covered: how much is running, how critical it is, how quickly you need an answer when something goes wrong, and how much small change work comes up in a month. We look at your setup and give you the number before you decide. If support would not pay for itself, we will say that too.
Are changes included?
Small edits, yes: text, prices, opening hours, a new image, an extra section. Anything that is a new piece of functionality we quote separately beforehand. We draw that line in the first conversation, so it is never an argument later.
What happens if the site goes down?
Monitoring flags it and we start before you write to us. You get a message about what happened and when it is fixed. If something larger is broken, we restore the last tested backup rather than leaving you waiting.
